Brees lifted Rex Ryan’s Gut to victory on Monday night, but it wouldn’t be enough to elevate the Saints to a win. RRG currently resides in fifth place, and can clinch the playoffs with a win in week 13, or a loss with some help around the league.

RB1 – Justin Forsett – Montee’s Ball – 31

Justin Forsett of Nature pulverized the Saints sorry excuse for a defense on Monday night. This is Forsett’s second straight elite performance. Monte’s Ball’s newfound power surge could prove to be a test to the contending Terwilliger and their aspirations for the trifecta.

RB2 – Eddie Lacy – Tenacious tD – 25.8

Eddie Lacy and the Green Bay Packers continued their march towards the playoffs in week 12. Lacy was the primary weapon of the offense with two TD. Tenacious tD is still alive in the playoff hunt, but they need a win from Layin’ Woodson, HardOns TrainingCamp, and one of the following (Rex Ryan’s Gut victory, or Julio’s Foot victory + TTD must outscore RRG my 30.9.)

WR1 – Demaryius Thomas – Neverending Splendor – 26.7

Demaryius Thomas is without doubt one of the best WRs in the league on one of the best offensive teams in the league. A true fantasy gem. Neverending Splendor fell to Montee’s Ball in week 12. NS will play Pierces Getaway Carr in week 13, and has the opportunity to put their seeding in question.

WR2 – Odell Beckham Jr. – Terwilliger – 26.4

ODB has made his presence felt ever since he became healthy in week five, but never more so than week 12. We all saw his TD catch, I don’t need to say anything more about that. It’s truly been the year of Terwilliger with everything they’ve done has come up hearts so far. With a league leading 1,248 points.

WR3 – Dez Bryant – ThUnder Dawgs – 20.6

Bryant played second fiddle to Odell this week, but he had himself another great week. Bryant’s elevated his status to arguably the best WR in the NFL today. ThUnder Dawgs can spoil Tenacious tD’s last chance at the playoffs in week 13.

TE – Jimmy Graham – Layin’ Woodson – 16.7

Jimmy Graham returns to the prime spotlight in week 12 for the second time in three weeks. After a disappointing season plagued by injury, Graham seems to be rounding into shape. It’s been a disappointing season for Layin’ Woodson, but they were able to take down the defending champion Pierces Getaway Carr in week 12, and spoil their chances at a playoff bye week. They can also ruin the great season Butt Fumble’s put together by taking them down in week 13. (Editor’s note: Do it!)

K – Cody Parkey – Jeff Fisher’s Beard – 21

Cody Parkey is making his Prime Performers debut despite his third highest point total in the league. Parkey couldn’t carry JFB to victory in week 12. His performance on Thanksgiving will be his most important yet.

Manny Lawson and the Buffalo Bills rallied together, and trounced the Jets in a game that was pushed back, and played in Detroit to accommodate the conditions in Buffalo. Now might not be the best time to play a meaningful game against Montee’s Ball.

Who Sucked??

• Ben Tate – Jeff Fisher’s Beard – 0 points – Ben Tate only joined the Vikings earlier in the week, but with Asiata out, I took a gamble and lost. Tate was a non-factor. I didn’t have a RB on the bench who would have bridged the gap, but it’s often the moves you don’t make that kills you. I debated adding Blount, but didn’t want to be too Patriots happy (and didn’t expect him to blow up as big as he did.)
• Mike Vick – Pierces Getaway Carr- 2.44 points – Simply put, 2.44 points from your QB is always going to cripple you. Vick seemed to show promising signs in recent weeks, but clearly the helter skelter of the suspended game didn’t do him well.
• Roy Helu Jr. – HardOns TrainingCamp – .9 points – Like Tate for JFB, Helu Jr. simply was a non-factor for the Redskins pathetic offense.
• Frank Gore – Julio’s Foot – 1.6 points – The once great 49ers RB has been a shell of himself for much of the season. One has to wonder his value to the 49ers offense at this point. He’s only eclipsed 10 points once since week five (14.3 in week 10.)
• Denver Defense – ThUnder Dawgs – (-1 points) – Even just an average performance (5-8 points) would have been enough for ThUnder Dawgs to win in week 12, but they disappointed.
• Brandon Marshall – Reed White & Rueb – 3.2 points – Marshall has long been considered one of the best WRs in the game, but he’s been too inconsistent to be happy with this season. Marshall’s last two weeks leading up to this game have been some of his best, but he wasn’t able to ride the momentum into week 12.
• Vernon Davis – Neverending Splendor- 2.1 points – Vernon has been just downright awful this year. He did outscore Clay Harbor this week though, so he has that going for him.
