Prime Performers Week Seven

October 23, 2012 Leave a comment

QB – Drew Brees – Layin’ Woodson – 30.18

Drew Brees, who recently had to tell us about a record he was breaking for us to know about it, made his way back to the Prime Performer list in week seven.

RB1 – Chris Johnson – 4th and Drunk – 31.8

Chris Johnson had a fantastic game against the Bills in week seven. After turning in a vintage performance, it should be interesting to see if he turns into the weekly Prime CJ, or the dud he’s been the last two seasons.

RB2 – Arian Foster – Rex Ryan’s Gut – 22.3

“Hey Arian, can I get your hat?”
“I’m in the middle of tooling the Ravens.”

WR1 – Vincent Jackson – 4th and Drunk – 27.6

Vincent Jackson somehow came up with the ball on this pass that looked like it was going to be intercepted. He then took the ball 80 yards down the field, but fell just short of the endzone, or it might have been even more for 4th and Drunk.

WR2 – Randall Cobb – Two Mannings One Cup – 22.8

Randall “Corn on the” Cobb was a favorite target of the great Aaron Rodgers in week seven. Cobb is on the move from Two Mannings One Cup to 5AUCED as long as their trade processes.

WR3 – Victor Cruz – Kilin Time – 19.1

Just when it looked like RGIII and the Skins were going to upset the favored GMen, Manning connected with Cruz for a monster TD with a side of Salsa. Cruz’s TD was the nail in the coffin.

TE – Rob Gronkowski – 4th and Drunk – 19.8

Gronk no drop football, Gronk no lose game. Another solid performance from 4th and Drunk in their breakout week.

K – Nick Folk – Free Agent – 18

Nick Folk tried his best to be the hero in yesterday’s game, with two big FG’s down the stretch in the 4th quarter, but the struggling Patriots were able to salvage a win with an OT FG.

DEF – Houston – 4th and Drunk – 20

No surprise to see CJ’s 4th and Drunk with another Prime Performer. JJ Watt did his best to disrupt Flacco on Sunday, and the best he can is good enough.

100 Club

  • 4th and Drunk – 103.04
  • Layin’ Woodson – 100.76

Prime Performers Week Eleven

November 22, 2011 Leave a comment

QB – Matthew Stafford – Two Mannings One Cup – 31.6

Like a young Kurt Warner, unlike a young Jorge Posada, Stafford went for the gloves in week eleven. Well it certainly worked, as he threw for five touchdowns.

RB1 – Kevin Smith – Free Agent – 38.1

Turn back your clocks, Kevin Smith is alive and well... Happy Waivers!

RB2 – Ray Rice – Tenacious tD – 26.7

Ray Rice got back on track in week eleven, making yet another appearance on the Prime Performer List.

WR1 – Jordy Nelson – 4th and Drunk – 24.3

Nelson has felt at home in the first row at Lambeau. He has become a pivotal player for 4th and Drunk with the Rodgers to Nelson connection.

WR2 – Nate Washington – Big Fat Stinky Turd – 23.5

A mid-season acquisition of Big Fat Stinky Turd, Nate Washington has really helped turn around their fantasy season.

WR3 – Torrey Smith – Tenacious tD – 22.5

Torrey Smith has become one of the most surprising rookies of this NFL season. He has already totaled 91.6 fantasy points on the season.

WR3 – Vincent Jackson – Ron Mexico’s Bulldog – 22.5

Jackson powered Ron Mexico's Bulldog to a tight victory, keeping their playoff hopes alive. They are currently in sixth place.

TE – Ron Gronkowski – Big Fat Stinky Turd – 21.6

This snapshot was taken just moments before Gronkowski almost got very injured. For the third straight week, he was the top dog at Tight End.

K – David Akers – Tenacious tD – 12

Akers had another great game in a tame week for kickers. Tenacious tD learned from weeks past, and played the sure footed kicker.

DEF – New England – 4th and Drunk – 22

Led by Kyle Arrington's two interceptions, 4th and Drunk pulled off another improbable Monday night comeback, securing first place in the league with an 8-3 record.

Prime Performers Week Nine

November 9, 2011 Leave a comment

QB – Aaron Rodgers – 4th and Drunk – 31.08

Rodgers stood tall in the pocket all day for the Packers against the Chargers, and once again he had the best fantasy performance for Quarterbacks.

RB1 – Willis McGehee – Kilin Time – 28.3

For the second straight week Kilin Time had a top performing Running Back. McGehee didn't factor into the decision though due to the uncertainty of his injury status.

RB2 – Arian Foster – Rex Ryan’s Gut – 21

Arian Foster put together another strong week for Rex Ryan's Gut. This is his second appearance on the Prime Performers List.

WR1 – Vincent Jackson – Ron Mexico’s Bulldog – 32.1

Jackson led all Wide Receivers in fantasy points this week with his big game against the Packers. This is Jackson's first appearance on the Prime Performers list since week two.

WR2 – Julio Jones – Big Fat Turd – 28.4

Julio Jones proved that he hasn’t skipped a beat in his return from injury. Two touchdowns propelled Jones to his 28.4 points.

WR3 – Brandon Marshall – Ron Mexico’s Bulldog – 16.6

Brandon Marshall had the best week of his season against the Chiefs, helping carry Ron Mexico's Bulldog to the money in week nine.

TE – Ron Gronkowski – Big Fat Turd – 16.1

Like most of the Patriots offense, Gronkowski got his game going in the second half of their classic match-up with the Giants.

K – David Akers – Tenacious tD -16

David Akers led all kickers with 18 fantasy points this week. He rode the bench for Tenacious tD, but luckily he had the second best kicker too in Billy Cundiff.

DEF – Arizona – Ron Mexico’s Bulldog – 18

Patrick Peterson capped off this snoozer with a game winning 99 yard punt return.

Prime Performers Week Two

September 20, 2011 Leave a comment

Here’s a look at the All Nave-Po team from Week two.

QB – Cam Newton – Cam Newton’s Dad – 29.58

Cam Newton has been one of the biggest surprises thus far in the young season, and certainly has made his case to start on his dad's team.

RB1- Adrian Peterson – Layin’ Woodson – 26.1

It's no surprise that All Day AP has found his way onto the All Nave-Po team early on in the season. Layin' Woodson can count on that in the weeks to come.

RB2 – Fred Jackson – The Dutch Runners – 26

Action Jackson had an impressive performance in week two, earning him a place among the NFL's best.

WR1 – Miles Austin – Two Mannings One Cup – 32.1

Two Mannings One Cup got miles and miles of numbers from Austin in week two, but they will have to wait for him to heal before they can expect any more production.

WR2 – Jeremy Maclin – ThUnder Dawgs – 29.2

Jeremy Maclin shook off any doubts that fans may have had about his well being with a terrific performance in week two.

WR2 – Vincent Jackson – Ron Mexico’s Bulldog – 29.2

VJax and the Ron Mexico's Bulldog had to feel great after a beastly performance in week two, a display from Jackson that we have become accustom to in the past.

TE – Ron Gronkowski – Sally’s French Toast – 20.6

Gronkowski has proven to be a big target for Brady. With all the Tight End production coming out of New England it is hard to figure if he's the favorite, or Hernandez.

K – Rob Bironas – ThUnder Dawgs – 15

Bironas' boot helped not only the Titans' upset the Ravens, but ThUnder Dawgs in their week two matchup.

DEF – Detroit – Two Mannings One Cup – 21

Jim Schwartz brought another of his former Titans defensemen to Detroit in Stephen Tulloch, and the addition has payed dividends thus far.
