Prime Performers Week Eight

October 30, 2012 Leave a comment

QB – Matthew Stafford – Pimpin Aint Breesy – 32.28

Stafford came to life against the Seahawks in Week Eight. Pimpin Aint Breesy enjoyed the production from their midseason acquisition, but it wasn’t enough to take down The Dutch Runners.

RB1 – Doug Martin – The Dutch Runners – 33.4

Doug Martin was far and away the best running back of the week. Martin’s Thursday night numbers helped The Dutch Runners off to an early start.

RB2 – Willis McGahee – 4th and Drunk – 19.5

We surprisingly have a Prime Performing RB that didn’t eclipse the teens. In a weak week for RBs, McGahee was the second best scorer.

WR1 – Titus Young – Carl Winslow’s Son – 22

Titus Young had a breakout performance in his debut with Carl Winslow’s Son. Young nearly doubled his season’s production in week eight.

WR2 – Michael Crabtree – Kilin Time – 20

Crabtree fell into the favor of Alex Smith on Monday night. Crabtree scored an even 20 points in week eight.

WR3 – Demaryius Thomas – The Raging Teboners – 19.7

With Peyton in Denver, Demaryius looks like he may be one of the league elite receivers.

TE – Rob Gronkowski – 4th and Drunk – 26.6

Gronk seems to be returning to last season’s form. An impressive Sunday in England put Gronk back in the Prime.

K – Lawrence Tynes – 4th and Drunk – 19

Tynes had another great Sunday. He’s become a mainstay on the Prime Performers List.

DEF – New York Giants Defense – Tenacious tD – 22

JPP showed of his hops and hands from his hoop days. Pierre-Paul intercepted a Romo pass early on, and took in to the house.

DEF – Miami Defense – Carl Winslow’s Son – 22

Who would have thought that using Tebow in punt protection would ever hurt the Jets? Coming off a week of brazen smack talk, the Dolphins had the last laugh against the Jets.
