Week in Review – 9/15
Week One Revisited
When week one came to an end, there were five teams that broke the century mark for the week. Four of them were able to take home the victory, while Greg’s Terwilliger were unlucky to receive a loss. Brian’s Layin’ Woodson had the biggest blowout victory of the week, taking down the defending champion ThUnder Dawgs by 33.96 points.
Bears @ Packers Starts Off Week Two
Week two got off to a start with the Bears @ Packers on Thursday night. It is safe to say that anyone who used players in this game other than the two defenses was disappointed with their teams output. I got killed by the lack of production from Jay Cutler, and the troublesome injury to my team’s bell cow Matt Forte. The two combined for a measly 14.24. The redeeming factor is that my opponent Pimpin Aint Breesy also struggled to score, combining for 7.2 points from Brandon Marshall and Randall Cobb. Other notable ineptitude came from James Jones, (5AUCED, -.1 points) Alshon Jeffery, (Ron Mexico, .7 points) Jermichael Finley, (Ron Mexico, .6 points) and Aaron Rodgers (The Raging Teboners, 11.16 points.)
Movers and Shakers
The week between One and Two also saw the second trade in the league’s young history. This swap saw AJ Green and Kevin Ogletree trading in their Teboners’ Uniform for that of Two Mannings. In return, Sidney Rice and Trent Richardson will be donning their new Teboners’ jersey in week two. Hogan made it known earlier in the week that Green was on the block, and it didn’t take long for him to work out a deal.
