Prime Performers Week Five

October 9, 2012 2 comments

QB – Andrew Luck – Navesink Chiefs – 29.88

Andrew Luck played Chuck Strong in week five, the first week without their head coach Chuck Pagano. Luck led all QBs for the week, but was benched behind Phil Rivers on the Chiefs this week. He may get the nod in weeks to come.

RB1 – Ahmad Bradshaw – Layin’ Woodson – 26.9

Things looked scary for Bradshaw owners as he fumbled the ball on his first carry of the game Sunday, but every play after that went great. Bradshaw showed off his patented TD celebration spike.

RB2 – Arian Foster – Rex Ryan’s Gut – 22.8

Me – Hey Arian, can I get your hat?
Arian – I’m in the middle of thrashing the Jets defense.

WR1 – Marques Colston – Navesink Chiefs – 31.1

Marques Colston, entering your living room. Colston led all receivers in points this week, mostly thanks to his three touchdowns.

WR2 – Reggie Wayne – Ron Mexico’s Bulldog – 27.2

Reggie Wayne was also Chuck Strong as he scored his only touchdown of the week. Wayne tallied most of his points in yardage.

WR3 – Percy Harvin – Rex Ryan’s Gut – 23.6

Mr. Migrane had a game to remember in week five. He put up enough points to secure the third prime performer slot.

TE – Tony Gonzalez – Tenacious tD – 18.3

The newcomer to Tenacious tD had a hell of an introductory week. Unfortunately for Victor it was not enough to overcome Layin’ Woodson.

K – Blair Walsh – Layin’ Woodson – 13

Blair Walsh also contributed to Layin’ Woodson’s big week five output.

DEF – Chicago – Kilin Time – 28

The Bears have made the Prime Performers list their home away from Chicago. Peanut Tillman had yet another interception in week five, and he also brought it back for a TD. Might as well start calling the Bears’ Defense the Bears’ Second Offense.
